Privacy & data

Your trust, held with care

The same intention we bring to a session, we bring to your data: confidential, secure, and never sold.

Who we are

Soundara by Etheris ("Soundara", "we") provides live sound and wellbeing experiences based in Brentwood, Essex, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information you share with us. For any data request, contact hello@soundara.co.uk.

What we collect & why

Contact & enquiry details (name, email, message), to respond to you and arrange sessions.

Consent & intake information (including health and wellbeing details you choose to share), to adapt sessions safely, with care and inclusivity. This may include special-category health data, processed only with your explicit consent.

Experience reflections and testimonials, shared only with the consent option you select.

Booking details via our scheduling provider (Calendly or Cal.com), to confirm and remind you of appointments.

How your data is secured

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Form submissions are validated server-side and protected against automated abuse (rate limiting and spam protection).

Information is stored securely by Soundara by Etheris, with access limited to those who need it to deliver your care. We apply security headers and a strict content-security policy across the website.

We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.

Retention

We retain your data in line with UK GDPR and the relevant UK / Prosperity Fund requirements, typically 5 to 6 years, for your customer journey, tax, audit, and reporting purposes. After this period, data is securely deleted.

Who we share it with

Your information is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties, except where required by law, by government-council-funded project obligations, or by regulatory authorities. Trusted processors (e.g. our scheduling and spreadsheet providers) handle data strictly on our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email us and we will respond within one month.

Sound healing is a complementary wellbeing practice and not a substitute for medical care, we never use your information to provide medical advice.
